WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IN LONDON

Barbican London wedding photography

Almost completely razed by the Blitz, the Barbican’s architects, Chamberlain, Powell and Bon, too the opportunity to propose a radical transformation of how people live in buildings and cities.
The result is one of London’s most ambitious architectural achievements: a city within a city that is raised above street, from Roman fortresses and French Modernism, Mediterranean holidays and Scandinavian design.

A special home to 4,000 residents within 2,000 flats, around schools, a church, a library, an artificial lake, conservatory and an entire arts centre, basement theatre and Cinema.

Adam & Stephanie made the move from their home in Tokyo to London, having their wedding in the Stunning Barbican Conservatory within months of landing on UK soil.

A stylish and laid back wedding amongst the palm trees of the Barbican with their first look aside the lake before drinks on the terrace with friends and family who have come from each corner of the world to celebrate.

WHY FILM PHOTOGRAPHY

35mm and medium format film has a special look to it, it has a way of looking timeless yet relevant all at the same time. whether looking at your wedding photos weeks after the wedding or years down the road, film photos seem to hold true and not get lost in trends. fro the natural colours to amazing black and white film photos, they just look better.

The way wedding photos are captured using film is a little slower but this means more care is taken when the shutter is pressed resulting in more keepers so the end product results in a better collection of images of your wedding day. You also get to keep the negatives if you choose so it’s a real legacy for your London Wedding.
