Villa Bonomi’s amazing views of Lake Como…
Hannah & Andrew were set on having their wedding in Europe, but spent a long time searching for just the right venue. Villa Bonomi’s amazing views of Lake Como, whilst being away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, made it the perfect choice.
Their first overseas trip together was Italy, so it felt right to host their wedding there, with their family and closest friends. They wanted to ensure their guest were relaxed, had fun and to fully experience the beauty of Lake Como in the summer. An effortlessly elegant event was curated by Anne Laure wWedding, who was essential to Hannah & Andrew, in creating this Lake Como wedding.
An elegantly DRAMATIC WEDDING DRESS…
Hannah’s parents gifted her earrings which they helped design, created by the father of her oldest family friend who also designed her engagement ring. For the wedding dress Hannah ultimately wanted a dress that had a touch of the dramatic, thinking there will not be many times in here life she can where a dress like this. Her dress was elegant with a full skirt, but very lightweight, perfect for the Italian heat. Andrew wore a classic tailored black tuxedo, which suited this Lake Como wedding perfectly.
The talented Sophie Roberts designed the invitations and menus. The towns & cities around Lake Como were incorporated into the designs, they selected some of their coat of arms and had those serve as table card indicators for guests to identify their table. Hannah & Andrew were specific about what flowers they did and did not like, and that whatever was chosen, the arrangements should look natural. Sisters & B Floral design did the flower designs, and did a beautiful job. The caterers for the wedding was Class Eventi, who also provided the cake.
